The Louisville Launch, church plant of 2006

The Louisville Launch was taken on as a CBC missionary for one year.                                                                                 At the end of that year the Missionary Committee did not lead CBC to continue their financial support.                                 Article III, no. 4, of our church constitution says:                                                                                                                 "The purpose of this church shall be:   "The establishing of extension work in other localities."                                                   It is in the spirit of the constitution that I have created this new page on our website for the Louisville Launch.

I feel these people are still worthy of our prayers and whatever private financial support our people might want to send to them.    So I will continue to keep in touch with them, and man this page in hope that more of our people will want to support this worthy extension work.            Pastor Merrill  11-15-06

Dear JBCST:

Today, Tuesday, is my birthday and I have had a couple of wonderful birthday presents along with the ones my family has given me. First, we have accepted the restructured lease agreement for the rental property. I was able to speak with the architect this morning and he will start his part of the process next week. We are very grateful that the Lord kept this door open and worked marvelously through our steering committee to get a restructured lease. We did not ask for the terms that were restructured. The owners approached us with the new terms. So, we saw that as the Lord leading us to move in this direction. We will keep you posted on the progress and on ways that you can assist in getting us into this new location. The other present was a favorable visit from the building inspector. Our home has been approved for finishing out the interior and exterior. We are truly grateful that this step is behind us. Here are some matters for prayer and praise. www.jtownbible.org

Prayer:

  1. Pray that the architect will be able to work in a timely manner on our rental property. He needs to submit plans before we can get a building permit for the changes.

  1. Pray that the steering committee will have wisdom as we make decisions relative to actual ministry and also with regard to facility.

  1. Pray now that the additional consistent exposure will grant us ministry contacts.

  1. Pray for the Lord’s provision on filling out the rest of our financial support team.

Praise:

  1. We thank the Lord for His provision and leading relative to the rental property.

  1. We thank the Lord that He has granted us favor in the eyes of the owners.

  1. We thank the Lord for the supportive response of our church family.

  1. We thank the Lord for your investment in prayer and also for our steering committee.

Your fellow servant in Christ,

Pastor Larry
