Jenny Merrill continues to teach the Ladies Sunday
School Class, beginning a new series in the book of Genesis.
Pastor Merrill will
be teaching the Adult SS class in May.
Kerry and Peggy Brazeal are in charge
of children's classes.
During the morning worship service,
children are dismissed for Children's Church at about 11:30.
Leaders are David Linsday, and Kerry Brazeal.
Come join us every Sunday for Bible study before morning worship service. |

Monday evenings at 7:00
p.m.
This class is a support group for those with past and present addictions. This is a small group that is open to others visiting.

DORCAS ladies ministry |
|
In
the past, ladies met at CBC on the first Tuesday of the month at 10
a.m. They now meet at 7 pm. better allowing our working
women to participate in this ministry. They minister to two rest homes, one
men's homeless shelter, a shelter
for abused and battered women, and to the Fire and Police
Departments. A devotion and light refreshments follow each
work session.

AWANA
Club for boys and girls ages 4-10
Due to the lack of able
leaders this year, we are currently considering cutting back
on the ages we will be offering for Awana. We
are planning on having a youth group for the older children,
and may only have Awana for T&T and under.

Wednesday Night Bible Study and
Prayer 6:30 -7:45 p.m. |
We are currently studying Proverbs. All adults are
invited to attend, and children are invited to attend our Awana
or youth
clubs that run congruent with the secular school year. See above. |

2 Hour Club |
|
Those making a commitment to give 2 hours a month
toward keeping the CBC facilities clean and well maintained.

The Worship team is led by our Music Director,
Chris Clearwater, who chooses the music from "The New Church
Hymnal," "The Maranatha Praise Chorus Book," the
"Worship Him" chorus book, as well as some songs
written by some of our own people. Chris also, at times, uses
a digital hymnal that provides instrumental accompaniment
including drum beat. Gerald Simon is on piano,
and has started to incorporate the use of an additional
keyboard with various preprogrammed musical accompaniments. Joanie
Ashelford sings while playing acoustic guitar along
with Sean Crehan, Kay Rothering, and Dorina Merrill,
singing. Pastor Merrill puts together the
PowerPoint slide presentation for the congregation to see
artistic lyrics projected on the screen. The use of
more contemporary artists and music geared toward today's
younger generation is planned for the future.
