| Overcomers Outreach is a journey of hope! Through
applying the truth of scripture, working the 12-steps, and sharing in
fellowship with other Overcomers, OO participants let go of past hurts,
triumph over current problems, and learn to depend on God. Everyone is welcome at OO meetings. The support group participants, whatever their need, find the extra care and encouragement necessary to grow beyond the wound of life's battles, the difficulties in family relationships, the bondage of addictive habits and behaviors, and the isolation caused by shame. OO meetings are filled with the faith, hope, and love that only God can provide through Christ. Who attends OO meetings? Church Members who need a safe place to share the truth about their lives-their problems, struggles, and recovery needs. New Believers who still struggle with past hurts, old habits, and the consequences of sinful behavior-forgiven, but not forgotten. Christian Visitors from outside the church who are familiar with other twelve-step recovery programs but who seek association with Christians who name Jesus Christ as their Higher Power. Outside Visitors who have yet to trust Christ and may not feel comfortable in a formal worship service, yet they seek personal recovery in the anonymous, support group environment of OO meetings. Countless visitors have come to OO meetings to seek recovery help, and soon discovered the power of Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.
